Chris are you speaking from experience. Have you seen this happen on more than one occasion with Iridiums. I agree with you that spark is spark, but if you consider a lighter, sometimes you go to light it and there's not enough spark to ignite a flame, there's a spark but just not enough, than you finally get a good spark and walla 'flame!' Sounds kind of cheesey in comparison but the idea is as Technology increase so does a Technologically advanced spark plug have more a capability of doing a better job at less resistance and so a spark plugs capability to do it's job better and require much less energy to do it!! Anyway it's been recommended by a number of people.

I'm intrigued at your comment and would love to be enlightened by you on Iridium and Platinum? I'm not saying I'm doubting you Chris, just love to see your viewpoint in more detail!
