So even though the inlet/outlet is larger on the BAT lowers, they necked down the secondaries to use the same size butterflies?

Seems you wouldn't nesecarilly gain "more" flow area you would just be better port matched to the upper like that, which could be done pretty easily with a dremmel. Or am I missing something obvious?
