What's so strange about that? No different than Yankees fans about 4 years ago. Its the band-wagon effect that occurs during any amazing winning streak in sports. You should have EXPECTED it. Besides, right now Boston is just dominating in sports right now. Its easy to be a Boston Sports Fan!

I got this from a friend of mine before the Super Bowl. It made me crack up, so I thought I'd pass it along.

So about this Super Bowl match-up. Zack, I have to say, I hope the Pats do not win this year. Just hear me out, man! It's because I care about you, dude. If the Pats win the Super Bowl in the same year that the Sox won the World Series, there would be nowhere for Boston to go but down... straight down the toilet.. the stinking, festering toilet. Inevitably, such a feat would never be repeated again, and you would grow old, withered, and jaded, longing in vain for the "good old days" when the Sox and Pats took it all in the same season. "Those wah the days" you'll say to your withered old Boston buddies as you watch both teams continue to lose consistenly, year after year. "Wicked Pissah," they'll reply. You see, a "bi-fecta" this year would spell doom for a fan like you. If the Pats lose, at least there will be some mystical goal left out there for Boston that fans like you can strive for. A loss would _save_ your very fan-hood!

I know the odds are in the Pats' favor, but for your sake, my friend, I hope they crash and burn. And deep down inside, you should be hoping for that, too.

Your A-Hole Friend,
