Hello everyone, I know you all thought this was a Contour run, so I do apologize for misleading you. I made a trip to the track last night for a few runs since adding: LT headers, exhaust, intake, clutch and flywheel. I also was running on a set of 17" ET Sreets.

Tha car went 12.5 at 115 with a 2.0 60' time on my first and only trip stock trim. With some more seat time I "probably" could have mustered some quicker et via quicker 60's.....

I really did not have an opportunity to get used to the ET Streets as I only got in 3 runs ie: I wasn't launching the car hard enough and was still somewhat feathering on launch!

Anyways I cut a 1.8 60' and wound up going 11.98 at 117 with a 15mph headwind in 65* weather....I hope to get the going quicker with more seat time, but only time will tell.

Not to shabby huh, and boy do those tires grip!

im assuming you're talking about your ZO6 (correct me if im wrong) but regaurdless congratulations! im sure your shave off some time with 15mph winds. keep us updated

Those are some pretty good times considering the conditions.

You should have got some 3.90 gears when got the clutch and flywheel done. With M12 transmission you end up almost at the redline in 4th at the end of the strip. Then again you would have some traction problems on street tires because they make a huge difference.

My uncle just dynoed at 397rwhp with full bolt-ons and a custom tune in his Z06. What are you at right now?

I wanted to keep the full road course ability of the car as I'm a multi-purpose enthusiast as opposed to a straight line type of guy......

I have not had the car dynoed or tuned for that matter...I will be installing a cam in the next few months and will have the car "editted" at that point in time in which I should be in the neighborhood of 425+rwhp!

I'll let everyone know of the progress on the car.

Not to many enthusiastic since I became a troll huh?

when i read this.. i was like hot damn!!!!!! a contour in the 11's!!!!! yea!!!!

but now that my heart is back to normal..... good job..

i love corvettes too.... just out of my price range...

we get much more excited about a Contour running 13.51 @ 107.56 than a Z06 running 11.98 @ 117
