ON a ZETEC engine an AFC ADDS timing. In order to run 200+whp 42lb injectors are recommended, that halfs your MAF load values and doubles your timing values in the ecu. When I installed 42lb injectors and a MAF calibrated to those injectors I had 30* spark advance across the board. I couldn't go over 30mph without getting deto. If you only want to add 24lb injectors 30lb, then an AFC might work, but if it doesn't you're engine is done. There is a Cougar Zetec guy with a Greddy E-Manage running 36lb injectors right now but the Greddy has features a regular AFC doesn't, but it's also more expensive and can't control our Fords ECU timing. The base SCT package is as cheap as an Emanage and CAN control our timing also.
