With a Centerforce Clutch and a Quaife LSD, will I have any problems with the rest of my drive train? I am worried that I will have to take it easy in order not to snap half-shafts and the like. I have heard that I will not that issue, but a buddy of mine, with a Honda (what can you say???) snapped his halfs in one track run. That was with a stock clutch, too.
Enlighten me, please.

I had my Quaife with a stock clutch and a lightend flywheel for the longest time and I didn't have any problems.
I used to AutoX and hit the open-track events and I never had a tranny issue. I blew up my tranny once but since then I've installed the Quaife and its held up to 100shot NOS and also held up to my old 280hp 3L engine.

Never seen a drive shaft snap! But even with uprated shafts the 'r/h jackshaft' is still stoc..the only benifit from some of the uprated d/shafts are larger h/d CV joints..

Terry, what type of "Zetec Speedo Gears" do I need with the Quaife??? How many teeth ect... If possible, please give part number. I might as well ask Ford for the Flux Capaciter conversion kit (ala Back to the Future). They were clueless.
By the way... Thanks... It is pretty. Too bad I won't be able to look at it.

No.. I am not quite at that mechanical level. Neither is Chris (Kaiser). We procured the services of a local speed shop. We do, however, need to get the Carrier Bearings and Speedo Gears ourselves. They actually have a little experience with the MTX75... Go figure.

Sorry for the confusion. They do know how to install it, but I am unclear as to what speedo gears are needed to correct my speedo. Do I get a DOHC Focus, SOHC Focus, or Zetec Contour Speedo gear?

What correction is needed on the speedo? Is there something wrong with your existing speedo readings? The speedo drive gear is reuseable, if removed without damaging it.

BS...the Quaife has Zetec 'cut outs' and is not the same as the V6...unless you are a J&B weld fiend...
