bucking/hesitation at more than 50% would either be TPS or spark... maybe the wires, or coil need "refreshening".

2-2.5 YEARS on the plugs and wires could be about time to change them, mileage dependant.

Coil pack, maybe not so much, but a possibility, still.

I had the same hesitation problem and new plugs/wires fixed it. I'd start there since they are the easiest.

i was having the same sort of problem with my 96 gl and basically i did what had never been done to the car before...i cleaned the friggin' injectors with some o' that nifty lucas injector cleaner and voila and fibiniccio, problem fixed. that and i changed the oil and air filter but that's just reg. matinence (sp?) so if you do that regularily then it's most likely the injectors. unless you actually do have a bad wiring connection, but you said you replaced plug/wires so i was just giving another suggestion.

I would still try new plugs and wires first. Mine were only 3 years old if that since I had changed them and as it turned out they were the prob.
