Depends on what kind of control arms you have. Some are very expensive; others are really cheap. Do a search for it; this topic comes up a lot--it's a pretty common thing around here.

I thought there was a tubular control arm in the design phase. Or was that just for the rear?

I do believe there is someone who's TALKING about making front A arms. However, I'd be real careful about these. Unlike the rears, which use 3 arms per side there's only 1 on the front. Think of a worst case scenario (component failure). Would you be able to maintain control over the vehicle? Now if they've undergone a proper testing phase over XX period of time, I'd surely consider them over the stockers which are really wear items like brake pads, clutch discs and anything else made out of either friction material or rubber.

GForce Auto is planning to offer this, AFAIK. They did an interest check a month or two back, but this will take a while to get a good, safe product made and tested. The people actually making the product have a lot of experience making similar pieces for a lot of different cars. I'm not sure which forum the original thread was in. You might try the GB forum? Or maybe this one?

Also, Terry Haines has been talking about a beefed up front LCA for a long time, but he's been too busy with other projects. Proposed offering was to be three different levels--I'm assuming the low end was to be poly-bushed version of stock LCA in a non-bonded execution (less stress on the bushing in a lowered setup), and the high-end? I don't know. I thought this was close to coming out, but it's been two years, now. Might never happen, with all of the MTX and 3.0 work he's doing.

rac74: Your work looks nice, but where's the flat for the bolt-up? I know it's a work in progress but I'm having a hard time envisioning how this is going to work. What's stopping the arms from sliding fore/aft?

I would definately be interested in these. Doesn't seem to difficult in theory to design and make, but this is an alignment part so the product would need to be exact. Something I can't do with limited tools. I could design one though on my computer with some software I have for engineering.
