It works like any other slushbox. If you don't shift before a set limit BEFORE the redline, it will shift for you anyway. It's nothing more than a little toy that you'll have fun with for about two minutes into the driving experience. You still get crappy ATX mileage, crappy ATX bills, and other crappy ATX negatives. It's a nice car otherwise. -SAV

Chris said something smart about cars!!! Wow. I'll give you a cookie soon. Like how bout I get a nitrous system and come run in savannah? That will be a good reason to tell my mom why I need a new engine/tranny.

drove it today and when i use the manual mode it is much quicker. drives like my contour builds more power after 3500 rpm and it pulls better in the manual mode
also can go up to 6500 rpm before the atx will make me switch

Yeah, not a big fan of the atx/tiptronic crap... But the cars look pretty nice, and have a nice exhaust note as well. I raced one, at the track of course, back when my SVT was bone stock. It was pretty much neck and neck up to third gear, but then we had to get on the breaks. ..um, because another car had pulled onto the track. But I think I would've had 'em in thrid. One thing to be weary of, the whole engine bay is covered in tupperware, and it looks rediculous. (let alone traps tons of heat)
