SPEC uses grade 10 titanium hardware and weighs under 8lbs on a digital scale. Neither of which a Fidanza has.
SPEC most likely uses their own flywheel face & hardware and just gets the billet flywheel shell from Fidanza.
I know when talking to SPEC they told me they assemble their own flywheels to meet their "specs".
A SPEC flywheel was a no brainer to me after learning all that information. (I bought the Stage 1+ and flywheel together of course)
When I bought my Spec clutch...they were out of spec flys...I contacted Spec...they told me to contact Fidanza because they get the flys from them! This was last year. Dave from SP says the same thing.
