Just in case you guys were curious I have a dyno run for my '05 Mondeo Tdci. Its rated at 115hp, but puts out 125.9hp, and the torque is 314.7NM! Which is 232 lbs/ft torque. Who can host it for me?
Those are pretty good numbers. Is it common for car manufactures to under rate horsepower? This was also the case on the SRT-4 they claimed 215 but I here they're closer to 230.

They changed the SRT4's rating the second year it was out. There were various reasons given for its underrating, including that is was dyno'd at the wheels instead of the engine. Turbo engines can have larger variances from the factory than N/A engines as well.

Thanks John you beat me to it. Its common in Europe, all the VW diesels over here are underrated. The 130hp TDI VW engine can push anything from 130 to 150-ish! Some are hotter than others. The Tdci 115 engines seem to be all underrated too. Ford has 130 and 155hp versions of this same engine, and I would love to know what exactly they push out. I was well chuffed though at the figures.
Yea, chipping would see it with around 145-ish bhp, and approx 250/260 lbs/ft, BUT its a company car, and I dont have a chip on my V6, so thats getting fed first.
