Rara Administrator R Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,527 Westland, MI	I would not consider raising redline above stock without a bottem end rebuild with better bearings and tighter assembly tolerances. Forces at the crank increase with the square of the crank speed, so a little bit of redline increase means HUGE increases in the forces at the crank. That said, you could prolly bump to 7k and not have any short term effects, but I still wouldn't recommend it. It's all about balance. bcphillips@peoplepc.com
