Thanks for all info, but let me tell you the entire story of problems that my car has had....Just got both of the 02 sensors changed last week because I had a P1151 and P0153 code come up. Within the last year I have also changed the MAF sensor and all the gaskets on the upper and lower manifold. My mechanic is worried that it may be my catalytic converter, but he is still looking into the code that came up this time to make sure that it is not something else. Does anyone know if my car, a 98 SE V6 has another 02 sensor near the exhaust? He asked me something about this but I have no idea about it or cars in general. He thought that my car should have a sensor here. So with this extra information, any ideas on the new P0420 code?
