what is the best product out there to put on the leather interior to make it soft, supple and smooth?

I used a type of saddle soap to clean. Now its clean but the leather feels a little tough and hard.

Thanks

sounds like you dried it out. you should fix that soon!

go to walmart/target. i recently bought some Meguiars leather wipes that worked real nice. theyre like disposable towlettes that you wipe down the seats and then throw them away. big container for like $6. any repuditable brand product will do. consistent maintenance will also prevent the seats from prematurely cracking.

Lexol is considered one of the best brands, I prefer the creams to the liquid and really rub the cleaner/conditioner into the seats.

Lexol is amazing stuff. It tooks a bunch of stains out of my seats and gave good results. I am gutting my interior over spring break to install sound deadning... and i am going to totally clean / condition the seats once i have them out.

I used to be BIG on Mequiars, well, that was until I found Griots. Their leather cleaning/condtioning products are AWESOME, trust me. Not a "CEG-friendly" price of $30.00 for the 8 oz rejuvinator and 16 oz condtioner, but worth the money. Your going to want to buy some of their interior cleaner as well and yes, its dyed leather friendly www.griotsgarage.com

No my leather is actually in amazing shape...I dont think the back seats were ever used. Im looking for a product that will break in the leather and make the leather supple and smooth (like a very high quality broken in baseball glove if you can imagine). I think the leather is on the hardside b/c of the fact its not really broken in. The car doesn't have alot of miles on it.

Will the Lexol product accomplish this? Also where can I find it? Wal-mart, Pep Boys?

i use those Meguiars wipes also. From the looks of my back seats i don't think anyone sat in those at all, the passenger side seat also.
