Just wanted to share what happened to me this past summer.
As I had mentioned elsewhere - a very young girl was driving her parents mini van with her little girlfriends, talking on the phone and not paying attention to what was going on around her.
Unfortunately I happened to be coming through an intersection - on a green - while she was coming from the opposite direction and tried to make a left turn in front of me.
She wasn't even close. I had to swerve hard right to avoid a full head on. After impact I jumped a curb and hit a tree. Look at how the front license plate wrapped around the tree. The tree died but everyone else was OK.
