Hi, I just bought a 1998 contour svt and was looking to do a couple of mods to it. So far all I have done is added 2 aftermarket mufflers to better fill the rear ground effects. I have a intake on order but would like to know the best bang for my buck. My engine does have 115,000 miles on it but it does run strong. I am looking for advice or parts for sale. I also need an ashtray and possibly the power window switches for the driver and pasenger windows. Also is there any other center console that would work for the front as the console won't even hold 2 cans of soda without tipping over whne I drive around ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. There are a lot of opinions on here on this topic. Try using the search feature in this forum (performance) and look for "best bang for buck"--you're likely to find lots of info.

Try the classifieds on the main CEG site. Or search E-bay motors for "Ford Contour parts."

Some people have put the pre-98 console in their 98+ Contours. There may be a how to or FAQ on the main site, or search "General Mods," as a starting point.
