No chip I've ever tasted (and I've tasted WAY too many) can hold a candle to the local favorite around here , Dieffenbach's . Potatoes , lard , salt ... DONE ! They're only a few miles from my home , which is good and bad . We drive down there with our Dieffenbach's tin (lidded-can) in hand , they shake 'em right off the line , and we enjoy 'em warm & tastey . Mmmmmmmm ! They even sell "burned" chips (they're the dark ones you often see that slip through QC) in bags ready to go . They've also expanded into BBQ and (I believe) Sour Cream & chive/onion , after many years of only "plain" chips .

Now I'm hungry .
