Very good advice, except I am too broke to have done all that. I was only able to replace my blown svt struts when I got my tax return.

I agree. What started out as a worn right front bearing turned into bearings, struts, rotors, pads, both front outer tie rod ends, front lower ball joints, and right rear caliper. Age and milege takes its toll on everything. Luckily I did the job myself and all it cost was my time and parts, but stuff was worn out/broken(or I damaged it in the process and knew it so it was replaced, would dealer/shop do so?). The only thing I thought of doing was the whole lower control arm, but I have the early style--$$$$, so I didn't but prolly could of used it. In fact, just got car back from alignment shop and after the SPAX and H&R's it coulda used a BAT adjustment kit. Considering one of the best characteristics of the car is handling, one should not skimp. That and its a PITA to do over!!!!

I actually enjoy working on the rear suspension, front is a big PITA though.

Yeah, rear was much easier. More linkages I prolly should have replaced, too

Mine is at 122K and I dont have any steering/suspension issues other than rubbing in the backend.

And my tires wear evenly - I got more out of cheap tires like my old Douglas GT-H that what they were rated for - so I guess thats good.

I don't have ANY issues either. But I realize that suspension/steering parts are getting old and worn out. It feels fine, very responsive, but if I was to replace everything that should be replaced it would be a big difference. It's not exactly because of issues, but to get the very most out of the car, just like when it was new or better than new.
