Ive been tryinbg to do this for a while too, my intake makes so much noise its pissing me off. I've looked at the th fix article but have some questions, when he says
Quote:
For the SVT, or a car equipped with the SVT intake, the optimum hole size in the plug
seems to be 3/16" or 7/32".
is that the hole size for the rubber hose after inserting the copper pipe cap?

and whats a copper pipe cap just a cap with a certain hole size that restrics the air flow?

What you do is, go to Home Depot, pick up a .5" copper pipe cap (ya know, it caps the end of a copper water pipe, for example). You drill a hole in that pipe cap. The pipe cap fits snuggly into the IAC tube. What you're doing is, reducing the amount of air flow through the IAC tube by making the hole that air can pass through smaller (in this instance, 3/16 of an inch verses the previous 1/2 inch). This is what reduced throttle hang and the moose.
