And i loved your svt moving on. Take some pictures of the interior. I have been a fan of scions, but so far have only thought about the tc.

The TC is cool, but it wasn't the type of vehicle I was looking for. I agree, it's a sharp car with a lot of potential.

I looked around at the entire gambit of cars - new, used, trucks. I started asking myself - why get a 3 year old car w/o a CD player, no ABS, etc etc and pay 11K for it? (Of course, the price range varried all over the map, too.) Then I test drove a xB just for fun, and I thought, "Damn, all this for how much?"

My friend and his wife had a good time checking it out last night. He's 6'4" and he was climbing in and out of like a little kid. He fit very well in the front and back seats. It's funny, the xB comes up to my chin when I'm standing outside, but once I sit in it I'm amazed at the interior cavern!

It's a funky little vehicle, but it's a lot of bang for the buck. I didn't want anything fast, I wanted 4 doors, space, reliablity, and safety, and a good deal. Anyone look at the price of used civics lately? Everytime I looked I thought, "Damn, that's blue book for that little POS?"

P.S. the SVT went to a good home. The guy sold his zetec contour to buy mine. He said he'd been looking at SVTs ever since he bought a contour. I think she'll be happy with her new owner.

108hp @ 6000rpm
105tq @ 4200rpm
2450lbs curb wgt

IIRC the 0-60 is in the 9 second range.

I can live with those stats no problem. I haven't taken it up any mountain passes yet, but I'd imagine that it does fine.

Most interesting...

Is there quite a bit of cargo room when you fold the rear seats down? And do they both fold completly flat?

well congrats on the new purchase. you cant help liking a funky little car from time to time. i have a strange liking for the honda element, im not sure why. functionality is cool . i bet that will be a nice car to haul around your cycling gear. and hey, there's no lack of parts!
