Just run the wires as the originals are. Trace the big red wire on the + terminal all the way to the alternator and then run your own alongside it. Trace the = wire to the ground, it should be very close. Run yours, then find the engine/chassis ground, trace it, and run your own.



1)So I'm tracing the wires coming from the battery terminals and then replacing those wires w/ a "higher gauge wire" correct?

2)Or am i running 2 sets of wires from each terminal? the part where you said "run your own along side it" is where I'm getting a little confused. Let me know which one is right 1 or 2

lastly, what all does this do for you? what are the real gains of doing this mod?
