Hello all, I have a 1998 Contour V6 119k miles. Yesterday, I tried to start up the car at work and it started easy enough but the revs went up to 2k and then it immediately died. I had to start it up like 2-3 more times and the only way I could keep it running was if I gave it more gas. On the way home from work the idle was rough at a stop but otherwise it ran fine and didn't stall.
I just recently did the UIM cleaning and this morning I cleaned the IACV but I still have the same problems. Do I need to change the IACV or could it be something else? I actually replaced the IACV back at 76k. Thanks for any help.
