The nose tip is way off. This also means that more air will flow in there which is really bad news. It could rattle alot. I would put hood pins if I was you.

mine has the same gap. Other than cutting the stops anyone have suggestions?

The hood isn't shut thats why there is a big gap.

I thought it wasn't shut either the first glance I took at the pics but I think it actually is. That's just how it's going to look because of the differences between the Mondeo and Contour.
But I could be wrong.
