And don't oversteer to compensate ... then you might risk turning your slide into a spin. Try and angle the wheels to make the car come out of the slide by working with it a little ... not making the front wheels grab and haul the back around too much. Doing that is how jackass' end up chewing up the lawn of my house.

same thing happened to me a couple months ago. hit black ice elaving work going about 30 in a CURVE. i was following my friend who had blown through it at about 40 in her mailbu. i did a total 180 and slammed my front passenger tire into the curb. no damage tho, and my back tires dont have the best tread, but the stock tires on the E1 wheels i have to say are horrible in the snow. my back end slides out constantly

Sucks man, i slid my SVT into a curb going 5mph... needless to say my front bumper is fubared, so the SVT sits until it stops snowing! then in the bodyshop for repairs sucks... my 97 SE is a champ in the snow though
