In various forums over last year plus, I've seen a lot of moaning, groaning, griping and general childishness thrown at Terry Haines, particularly over shipping/pricing. I've also seen a lot of stuff about other some shops not providing support, or long delays on backorder, etc.
Tell ya what ya get when you deal with Terry: SERVICE!!!
I received my DMD from HMS yesterday, well and carefully packaged, days ahead of when I expected! Service in the form of fast efficient shipping, honest prduct at an honest price is not what we get at all vendors. Terry (and the other smaller shops like him) deserve our patronage. I know he has mine! As I said in my email to him, as I chortled over the DMD going in on Friday along w/kevlar composite cltuch & slightly lightened SVT flywheel:
"Again, many thanks for fast, efficient service -- worth every penny! (And you can quote me!)"
[[For those gray-marketing parts -- trust me, if/when customs wakes up, it can get rather nasty, especially using APO mail service. "nuff said!]] :rolleyes:
Again, Kudos to Terry Haines -- you have my business for those items you find and/or develop and make available to us. Thanks for providing terrific service for our "Ford Orphans," and their latter-day siblings.
Guys&Gals, ya pays your dime, and makes your choice -- but for my hard-earned buck, HMS is tops!
