i heard that macoo is for $#!t because they use cheap paint, and that alot of the paints that they use have an integrated clear coat. they don't clear coat cause it's "integrated". at least that's what heard they do here.

maaco painted my mirko splitter and couldn't even do a good job on that. I am sanding it down and painting it myself this winter. will have it done before spring . But i am never going back to maaco again! I left one bolt in the splitter that could have been removed, they just left it in there and painted right over it .

maaco gets a big thumbs down!

I think they only do one coat of clearcoat if that as well...which is what gives you the extra protection and shine. That and sanding between coats, which takes time, which you wouldn't get for $500.
