Auto-Rx
I (like many of you) are extremely hesitant to put anything other than good oil into my engine. We all know the phony claims and in some cases engine damage caused by snake oils like Slick 50, Duralube, Prolong, Motor Up, etc. One the most hardcore scientific Oil disscussion sites out there is
Bobistheoilguy has about 2 years worth of positive feedback about Auto-Rx to include oil analsis labrotories. It has NO detergents or solvents in it, it's 100% natural. It's not friction reducer, the stuff simply dissolves carbon.
I ordered a bottle of it for my Cougar and after finishing I can straight up tell you stuff is great. About 2 MPG more (steady) and the engine does seem to pull a bit harder.
Bear in mind these are the reults on a *well maintained* engine that was raised on nothing by Mobil 1 5w-30, with 5k oil change intervals, with a current mileage of 63k.
Bottom line, I'd strongly reccommend Auto-Rx to anyone, this stuff works exactally as advertised and benifits can be had on even the most well cared for engine.
