nice write up goonz. I have these same lights and I was able to install them in my '95 that did not have factory fog lights,meaning I had no brackets to work with.
I was able to mount mine with 2 bolts and 2 zip ties and they are quite sturdy,aimed well and look great. PITA to do,but easy once I figured out where to put them.
However,I'd recommend brackets.
