That means someone in the Jersey or PA area needs to get their butt over to Wagner to get a test fitting of them on a 'Tour.

Doesn't the MSDS headers come w/ a Y-pipe piece that connects to the headers when you buy it? I thought I heard that somehwere. In comparison does the Wagner's come w/ this Y-pipe piece?

Also in comparison the Wagner's add 15 hrsp to the 6 IIRC...im assuming there would be similar results on the SVT. However, what is the hrsp gain w/ the MSDS.

Some more pictures from a second test 6 that got fitted for these headers, in the pictures they do not have the O2 or EGR bungs yet, but when the first guy gets his camera back, he will post where they are located. Though we do have some comparison shots of the 90-lbs stock manifolds with pre-cats and the much, much lighter Wagner headers:

The MSDS headers do come with a y-pipe that connects the two headers, it replaces the factory one that most people here remove and optimize and re-install for far less. As when I first posted, I posed that these cheaper headers would be a great price and power match with those who have already optimized their stock y-pipes and are not ready to drop $660 to replace it and the exhaust manifolds.

I do not know about the gains on the SVTs, but here is a comparison of gains between Wagner and MSDS on the 6:

Wagner (Retaining stock y-pipe and two cats): 15 FWHP / 12 ft-lbs on a Mustang dyno

MSDS (Replacing y-pipe, removing all cats and Bosal axle-back exhaust): 12 FWHP on a Mustang dyno (Forgot how much torque he gained, its an old post on another forum, but since HP is just a measure of torque and RPM, its less than Wagners)

Don't forget you are comparing the 3.0 vers 2.5. We all know the 3.0 produces more tq an dhp then our 2.5? But don't compare enines with power here. Please if you do compare place a 3.0Liter with msds headers and then place wagners and compare differences!

This would be great if they really work out, but like it has said before, let's wait until someone takes the plunge and buys a set of these for a tour, and dyno results

I seem to remember that the optimized stock Y flows better than the MSDS Y.

Heh. I work with a guy who's waist-deep into Corvettes and he just swore up and down that no one's gonna offer $500 stainless headers that fit without lots of work.

well what car was your friend talking about? Cause i have swapped headers off a car in 2 hours before. And i was drinking at the same time. So it matters what car your friend is talking about.

hey and the stainless stell headers cost 399? Your statement was too broad and non specific so please elaborate!!
