Obviously people who don't know what "squares" are, are not football fans nor do they associate with football fans otherwise they would know. Christ, the old ladies at my old job all knew what they were because to them it was just like playing lotto and a way for them to slightly give a crap about the game that is going to monopolize their homes for an entire day despite being a 3 hour game
Your logic is not so obvious. You can be a fan of the game without knowing a think about squares.
Perhaps you could say that people who don't know what squares are are not gamblers. That's closer, but still not exact.
Perhaps you can just say they aren't squares

I stand by m y logic, if you like football and are breathing then you have been to a super bowl party and will have bought or heard someone talking about "squares" unless your IQ is your shoe size
