im not a fan of pigskin but I do know the old "football pool" as Ive always heard it referred to. as in, people pooling money together.
in the many schools Ive worked at this has always been very popular. i would often be the one running it cuz everyone else was too lazy to go around and solicit the interest from people.
maybe we could do one here? anyone feel like getting one started? say for $5 a square, divide the pot evenly amongst the quarters. $125 per winner. can collect the $ in paypal.
im not a gambler, even when i go to vegas, but i LOVE superbowl/world series/nba finals pools.
my friends dad was in a $100 a square pool
the LA Times has been doing one for years that is something like $365 a square and does it so squares next to the winners also win money.
