To change the rocker ratio have to move one of three components positions...the valve stem---the cam pivot point or the lash adjuster pivot point...forget it...uprating the valve springs leads to more load on the followers...which are not that strong for such upgrades...we are back to the limits of finger followers with u/rated cam grinds Vs 'direct acting' cams re LS and Jag duratecs...we have been here before guys..!!!!!

I'm gonna see what my supplier can do about maybe just custom building heads specific for the 2.5 Duratech!!! 3 Liter, maybe some other time, I don't want to do to many things at once I might get BRAIN FRY!!!

Their is a 'custom' head/valvetran for the 3.0 at least ..its the LS or Jag X type heads....

Terry, is there any way to get a hard and true price for that type of work? I'd feel like I was only doing a half a**ed job if I did a 3.0 w/o some sort of head work.

Sounds great Silva! Those of us planning on sticking with the 2.5L appreciate it! Custom heads and cams sound like a dream come true.
