i have a 1995 Mystique. 185k miles. Last night it started acting wierd -- it will start and stay running as long as a foot stays on the gas pedal. As soon as I take my foot off (to let the car idle), it dies.

I thought maybe it was due to the colder weather - I live in Florida and it got down in the 30's last night and this morning. But I drove it 60 miles to work today, so it should've been plenty warmed up. As soon as I pulled into the work parking lot, and took my foot off the gas -- it died.

There are no warning lights or any other indication that there is something wrong. When it runs, it seems perfectly fine.

Thanks for any tips!

If the IAC doesn't cure the problem, look into a vacuum leak. I had this issue along with a CEL last month; I thought it was the IAC at first but it ended up being a leak in an intake gasket.
