With an ATX or MTX? The ATX's don't seem to like it much because you can't control what RPM you launch at. The MTX is only below the IMRC opening point for a split second when racing, even then only in first gear. I removed them on my 2.5 first BTW and they work quite the same on the 3 liter. Boosted motors start building boost sooner without them too...
