I can just hear it now...

Ricers with a center strip cut out of the tread so the vanes or ribs whip through the wind & make a buzzing sound at highway speeds.

Maybe even playing cars attached to the A arms using clothespins so they hit the 'spokes'. "PPPPPPPPPPPTTTTT!!!"
