Uh, oh, first mod on the FSVT! I just installed it this weekend. I like it so far. I've heard of some problems that people have had with these, but it sounds good and the gains are VERY noticable. Dynos put the gains around 7-hp+ and 5-lbs+ I believe. It's probably the best intake I've ever installed on a car gains wise. Plus it sounds great. It hangs WAAAY lower to the ground than I imagined. I'm running a shield on it to help with road debris. Since I live in TX precipition isn't a big factor. The close up pix of the filter were taken from the front wheel. Yes it's that close to the ground, although it doesn't jut out from underneath the cars undercarriage. Note I had to cut the battery box to compensate for rubbing. I also "reformed" (bent) the horn bracket as well. I got those tips from the FocalJetter I bought it from. True cold air, mmmmm..

Looks like a sweet intake! Is the MAF built into the new intake now?

Thanks man. It is one sweet intake for sure. Yeah, the MAF bracket/opening is built right onto the intake. Perfect fit too. No CELs, or weird idling either. Just pure sweet hp/tq, sound, and flow.....

Thanks H. I love the one on the MSPs as well, however, I just can't find the testicular fortitude to drop $230+ on one. And that's Ebay prices. Maybe I'll do it when I'm not such a cheapo. This one usually goes for $200+, but I scored it about half that.

2nd mod: dump that plastic pos tb and pick up a focussport 65mm, HOTNESS!

been toolin with an svt for about a year now, TB/AEM made the damn thing haul ass, most everything else has been negligible for gains.

Sweet! Yeah, that's what I've heard. Hmmmm, one's going on the Bay right now for about $200. Might have to do just that. Thanks for the info. I wanna keep the mods moderate. The TB sounds good. I'm gonna do tint, Steeda shifter, and possibly a flash. That's it I swear.

Looks hot but I doubt it is giving you 7HP gain though.

Looks sweet, I had an intake like that on my 95 SE, love how it just disappears out of the engine bay.
