the Steelrs dont loose at home is referred to this year...undefeated Originally posted by DrGonzo: Originally posted by Toadster: oh yah, Steelers baby!!!
heck, i remember them trying for their 5th ring back in '81!!!!
Yeah, and they're still trying for #5!
I'm going to laugh when Roethlisberger gets made to look like the rookie he is by a patchwork secondary. Hell, the Pats made Payton Manning look like a rookie. Belichick is a friggin' genius. Let's look at some numbers...Playoff records...
Cowher 7-8 Belichick 7-0
Cowher's not going to make it to .500 this year.
ya 5th ring which would make them tied for the most Super Bowl rings in the NFL w/ Dallas and SF...but I digress
And what are you talking about Roethlisberger looking like a rookie and Belichek is a genius...last time i checked Roethlisberger had a field day w/ the Pats secondary and posted up 200 yards and was 18 for 24, 2 TD, and 0 int and winning 34-20.....but then I guess you'll use the "they didn't have Corey Dillon in the line-up that game" excuse for the Pats poor DEFENCE performance. LOL excuses excuses.

umm..Pats obviously!! I'm telling you all, all this hype about Roethlis-booger, he's still a rookie to me and our defense is gonna make him play like one..15-0 as a starter...who cares about numbers..look at manning..haha and now look at him again..didn't get anywewhere..although I hafta admit this will be a very very good game on both sides but since I'm a pats fan..Pats will win and then go on and win the super bowl..there just THAT good

Last time I checked, your coach isn't wearing any bling. 0-fer when it counts. You won't catch my 'Boys this year, either.
Roetlisberger isn't Payton, and your recievers are not the Colts. Your win vs. Pats earlier came when Ty law went down, appearently the adjustments have been made. You can ask Manning.
Patriots have won 13 in a row under Belichick when facing a QB for the 2nd time in a season...there's a reason for this, folks.
No Dillon is no excuse. The man is a beast. In these conditions, the running game will equal out. Both sides will showcase the running game, featuring two of the best backs in the league. That's fine, it wasn't the Steelers running game that damn near lost the game last week.
Ben will screw up again this week. You really think he will do better than Manning? C'mon. This time, he screws up, he will screw the pooch. Pats won't blow a chance when they get it, unlike the Jets KNEELING the ball and loosing yards before kicking a FG to win to game. If Dillon can't puch it in, he'll get them close. Vinatieri will hit. So he missed a 50 yarder in 2002 AFC Championship. No one has ever hit at Heinz longer than 48. He isn't scared to kick there. The conditions can't be worse than at Foxboro vs. Raiders.
Bottom line...mistakes will go punished this week.

Last time i checked the Steelers owned the Pats last meeting on ALL sides of the ball, in ALL aspects of the game, quit making lame excuses. Even the Pats players addmitted it in interviews they got their a$$es handed to them.
If you are saying the colts has a better trio of receivers than Ward, Burress, and Randel El....this shows how very little you know about the game
Whats the record Ben has now???Oh wait sometimes i get confused with the Steelers record of 15 wins in a row. And them not loosing at home all year. And the only AFC team to have a 15-1 record EVER! So many records this year, its hard to keep them straight
Steelers #1 runnin defense will own Dillion bottom line and the combo of the Steelers beast of an o-line and Bettis and Staley...they will again own the PAts
Vinnateri isn't afraid to kick at Heinz field?? Did you ask him this after you got up off your knees??

Nice flame there. No need for personal attacks discussing football. It's not like it's a political thread.
All three main Colts' recievers have 1000+ yard seasons this year. Manning's good, but they have to get open and catch the ball, right?
Only Ward got above 1000. Burress and Randel El are above average, at best, this season (and Randel El has never been better than that, really.) Burress' numbers started to slide last year, missing a few games this year didn't help, but he didn't set the world on fire when he played, either.
And the amazing thing about the Colt's receiver's numbers is, James gained over 1500 yards rushing this year, too. A lot of fans think all the Colts do is pass. Not really.
WHOOPS!!! Big Ben just threw a pick, returned for a TD.
Harrison is one of the all-time greats. You could look it up. click . But then that would be letting facts get in the way of opinions.
