Robert never had any trouble????? He was breaking trannies left and right!!! Thats why they went to the beefier gears. I think you need to read over this site. Mumms site The car in most of the pics is Leos car,but we won't get into that touchy subject

He was breaking axles and shifter mostly. Some of that info is used from Leo's input as well. Direct quote from Robert in an email, Quote:
We added some snap rings to keep the gears from moving with the side load, and lapped the gears in so they would mesh easier those were the only problem we had with them, never stripped any teeth.
Ya I guess Robert and Leo had a little falling out.

I guess you can just fence me in with the group of people who think that while it's fine to have a dyno queen or 500HP Highway bruiser to give the occasional Mustang/NSX/Porsche/Et al driver a little shock, breaking axles, replacing parts, and using time I could spend on Xbox or tryin' to bang hot chicks for free for something that could be done competitively easier and cheaper with a different platform - is not my game.

Traction Traction Traction Traction Traction Traction. If you are not concerned with reliablity big HP numbers are not a problem. I think even bigger hp numbers then we have seen from anyone on the boards so far are realistic. The motor would be for track duty only thus we don't see anyone getting real extreme with the motor build up as they like to drive the car. But the HP means nothing without traction. The only realistic way to get in the 11s would be from a rolling start Thats why I bagged mine and my next vehicle will be a lightning.

I imagine if you got creative, you could fit a couple of small turbines in the trunk facing aft and feed them off a fuel tank in the nose. Don't expect it to be a daily driver, of course.
