Thanks Marco! hahaha

Well, after having the thermal tape on the y-pipe for the week, its not worth it. It didn't help to lower my oil temps, not noticeable at least.

Even when the ambient temps were in the 40s this week, the oil temp still hit 250ish, when I held the RPMS near 5k.

We don't even want to talk about the oil temps when it was in the upper 50s this week. frown

I wish I had kept the OE y-pipe to salvage the damn heat shielding. Be careful guys, the only way I have been able to lower the oil temp is running my electric water pump at full blast, into the SVT oil cooler. Still not enough though, it brings the temp down to about 210, not bad, but not enough.

p.s. This all in F, not C, for our Canadians friends. wink
