i have a superchips chip in my 2000 csvt . unfortunity the clutch when out before i installed the chip so i have no idea what it does across the powerband. the only thing i was able to do was notice the raised rev limter that i only reved to about 7,200 rpm but hey thats above stock cut off. the chip i have was said to have come from sp motorsport once upon a time i have no paper work for the chip .

it was also said to raise the revlimter to 7,500 rpm . the code on the chip reads something to the effect of xgt1_rs i have no idea what the _rs stands for something to do with what generation of the xgt1 chip for the 2000 csvt. maybe demon could elaborate on the subject hopefully. you will need a chip programed to the xgt1 code for a 2000 csvt along with making the jump port mod to make the chip operational.

i'll know what it does when i get my car back next week from the tranny shop. which turned out to be more than i had bargined for . but looks like now i'll have a torsen install when all it said and done which is cool.

i heard demon say that one time,so i went with them actually it only cost 375+6 for shipping, its really about the same price as getting a cb through jetchips or something, plus your working with a company thats a little more familar with our cars
