By the way, if the symptoms go away after performing this proceedure, you likely have a wire issue anyway. The removal of the wire may re-seat a connection, dislodge corrosion, or move a crack/cut in the insulation to a position that will temporarily prevent an arc. Double check the connectors to make sure the wire contact is getting into the coil pack properly. Them suckers slide some and can be adjusted by accident when installing.

I have noted that there are some sharp edges on the back side of the UIM where I have cut the insulation on a brand new plug wire, so be careful about that too.
