You need to realize the parts expand when heated and timing can by off a few micro seconds which also means that free movement play NEEDS a safe clearance limit to work with.

The powerband for those makes them the equivalent of circle track cams. Ultra high rpm, ultra short powerband, always on a boil or no power.
