Hello everyone i'm in the market for a clutch and flywheel while my tranny is being pulled. I'm looking for a good deal though because funds are limited. SP Motorsports sells their spec combo for 770 something. They say their flywheel is made by fidanza, but is it really like an original fidanza. On the classifieds there is a person stating that a fidanza flywheel for sale for around 308 bucks. I'm thinking of purchasing the stage 2 spec clutch. Is a good clutch, or what ideas can you throw at me. Thanks a lot for all the info.

Um, I'm guessing that fif they say it's a Fidanza - it is. A lot of us have them. And yes the SPEC clutches are good units.

I know that you might be scepticle about price but if you look in the right places you can get a brand new fidanza pretty cheap. I got lucky with mine,a new one from e-bay and its beutiful and i got it for $250. Yes i would buy that and then buy the clutch from www.ctamotorsports.com They are in canada and get the clutches cheaper. You don't have to pay more for shipping though because they have the company drop ship it directly. What i remember sp motorsports was talking about is that the flywheel is balanced with the clutch so you won't have any issues with fitment to eachother. you might save your self a few bucks
actually buying them separately. $349+18shipping for clutch and $308+shipping=around $695 shipped buying separately. Try and get free shipping for the fidanza. www.spmotorsports.com $795 with out shipping so add about 25 bucks is bout $820 buying the combo. yeilding a $125 savings if you buy separate.

Thank you very much for the info. I have been looking around the internet and found a place in NY that sells the flywheel for 314 and the guy in the classifieds. The Spec clutch on the other hand seems to be only found at CTA or SP. Again thanks a lot.

Read up on the cons of getting a Spec 2. A Spec stage 1 will probably suit you just fine and save you some $, too.
