I'll agree with him because I know where he's coming from, even if neither of us have heard hardly a single song from any of those groups. The most emo band I've EVER heard is Linkin Park. Chester is ALWAYS whining about how someone is putting him down or holding him back and it gets on my LAST nerve. Look at the titles of those bands and albums: The System Has Failed? The Glorius Burden? Pain of Salvation? Tears of Anger? (lol that's a band's name??) A Celebration of Guilt? Advance and Vanquish? Buried in Oblivion? It sounds like a lot of people bitching about the same things that never reall happen to normal people. I wish they'd go do Def Poetry or something and keep their whining off my music shelves. Then again, I could be wrong. But I'm not.

They sound like metal/death metal bands, for the most part, to me... not some whining Bright Eyes mall-emo crap.

if you remove everything after the second comma to the end of the emo part and than make your sentence, you'll about sum it up

So you base what CD's you buy by the name of the band and/or CD?
Your music shelves? Do you own a music store? If so, then why don't you take them down yourself?
I can't stand it when people do this. FYI The System Has Failed is a really good CD. I haven't heard most of the other CD's in the quote but I have no reason to believe they are bad. As for being whiney, I bet any one of the band members of any of those bands could kick your ass, even Chester.
P.S. I've heard emo and I can't stand what I've heard.

Shouldn't you be talking to your cousin and watching TRL to find out what CD's you need to buy this month?
