And Modest Mouse is happy about that. They are kind of pissed about recent events and how their new album is causing everyone to jump on the wagon. They have been around to make at least 8 albums that I know of. That you could say, was the golden age of alternative rock.

Yea, its really annoying when you listen to a band for 5 years, thats been making cds for over 10 years, and then the all of a sudden become popular and people associate the fact that you listen to them as you jumping on the bandwagon.

If only more things could be about money... This was said in a recent article: Quote:

Modest Mouse are one of the breakthrough acts of the year, yet it's hard to think of an artist who seems to want it less than Brock. He's got a semi-hit single, Video Music Awards nominations, an album approaching platinum status and a two-night stand at the Hammerstein Ballroom filled with diehard fans â?? and the guy acts like he's just been handed a raw hot dog.
