Diodes are specified by two values, max voltage and max current. The max voltage is just the car voltage, so anything above 15 volts is fine. The sidemarker uses a 194 lamp, which is typically 5-10 watts, which means at max the bulb will draw about 0.8 amps (I = P/V => 10/12 (idle voltage)). So anything above that is fine.
