Well, I know for sure we can meet at the I 35-90 junction. Did we want to make it around 2PM meet time? That way when we get to Des Moines we can eat and go crusing for dem der Iowa chicks

My buddy who's coming along with me has to work all day so the best time to leave for us would be around 6:00-8:00PM at night....besides...I think Doug has class or work or something and can't leave IIRC until 7:00PM per his PM to me yesterday. Later. slingersvt

Well then maybe KingpinSVT and I will have to hit it up for a bit because I don't feel like leaving for Des Moines at the same time I'd be thinking about hitting the sack for the next day.

I hope your not serious about that race, I'd open up a 55 gallon barrel of whoop ass on you. But anyway, yes you can have the bed. Now how about we find out how much this room will cost. Who would want to do that? I'm busy tomorrow but I can do it Thursday if anybody wants me to.

So Kingpin, are you still looking at being in Des Moines around 3-4? Unless Slinger and XKontour can get down here sooner than 7 PM it looks like I'll be tagging around with you if that is alright. Maybe we can cruse the city for a while or something. Let me know. I did a short bit of searching today and it looks like the Bavarian Inn isn't really that bad of place. Here is a link I found if anybody is interested. It looks like a room will be around 50 bucks so I can put in ~10 if Kingpin and XKontour are taking both beds. I'll call them tomorrow and make sure they have an opening for May 18-19 and get an exact cost so we can get all of that arranged. Maybe I can just have you two paypal me your part of the money and I'll just pay by credit card when I get there. Just an idea

Well, I just got off the phone with the Bavarian Inn and they said the rate for two beds is $67 a night after tax (60 + 12%). A credit card has to be on file in order to hold it and right now they have a "few" rooms left. For the money part I was thinking I would put in $15 and you other two can paypal me $26 a piece and I can call to reserve the night. What do you guys think?

Guys, that's too much for that place. If all you need is a bed try the American Inn. It's about a half mile closer to the interstate on east 14th.
