I am buying SVT Focus front brakes from Bill Jenkins to install on my 1998.5 Contour SE. Bill said the caliper bracket requires 3mm spacers, but he wasn't positive about the 3mm dimension. Could someone (that has actually installed SVT Focus front brakes on their car) please confirm what size spacer is required?

ChattavegasSE has them on his car. He PM'd me about it & told me they require 4mm spacers. Lemme double check....

Yep, 4mm is what he said. Please check with him directly to verify. Ya never know, he mighta hit the wrong key.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Good job NVSVT, those are good brakes. I punished them going DOWN a well known local twisty road covered mountain (in a Focus SVT) and not only did I lose everyone following me but I made the bottom with NO fade.
