that's one reason why Paypal has been the subject of many lawsuits, including a class action one. supposedly they had been "cleaned" up when bought out by Ebay.....but apparantly not after seeing your situation.

have you contacted your bank? they should be able to help since this is a case of fraud. any luck with contacting any authorities?
