No offense intended, RogerB, but I call BS on your reply. A person who is selling online has a responsibilty to ship within a reasonable time after payment. In my opinion, a reasonable time is 3 - 5 days. (It doesn't take that much time or effort to put something in a box and drop it off at UPS.) If the seller cannot comply with that standard, then he MUST communicate with the buyer and say when he CAN ship. Anything less than that is inconsiderate at best (or a rip off in the making at worst), and is not excusable.

RogerB, you are cutting way too much slack for the slobs out there who are selling online, taking buyers' money, and then sitting there like statues for days and weeks, until the buyer hassles them enough to make them ship. It's wrong for sellers to behave like that, and you should not excuse it.
